Today’s Why We Make Music and Why I Teach Music: Be re-inspired by young musicians over and over again.
Some time ago I randomly came across a video of Michael Spener, a young Suzuki cellist who only has use of one hand to play his instrument. I found myself wondering recently if he continued to play music, so I did some digging around this week. I was delighted to learn that he is still making beautiful music!
Because I understand and am always grateful for the efforts of Suzuki parents: Huge kudos to Michael’s folks for supporting him in his musical journey. What an incredible family!
